Film as Method in the Geohumanities

Filmmaking has become an increasing focus of interest within geography, the geohumanities, and related fields. The use film ranges from enhanced forms ethnographic fieldwork to production feature-length documentaries shown at international festivals. making increasingly significant research method in itself that potential a widely recognized type interdisciplinary output. How should we interpret role relation wider epistemological debates over knowledge? can contextualize methodological turn toward broader historiography filmmaking cinematic apparatus?
